Plenary / Keynote Speakers
12th World Congress on Recent Advances in Nanotechnology (RAN 2027)
The Plenary and Keynote Speakers for the 12th World Congress on Recent Advances in Nanotechnology (RAN 2027) are listed below:

Dr. Dejian Zhou
University of Leeds, UK – NDDTE 2027 Plenary Speaker
Dejian Zhou is Professor in Nanochemistry, Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) at the School of Chemistry. He is a PI member at the Astbury Centre for Structural molecular Biology and Bragg Centre for Materials Research at University of Leeds, UK. He obtained his BSc and PhD in Chemistry both from Peking University, China. Ater postdoctoral research at Cranfield University and University of Cambridge, he was appointed to a Senior Lecturer and then Professor of Nanochemistry at the University of Leeds, UK. He actively pursues a polyvalent multifunctional nanoparticle (PMN) strategy to address some important biomedical challenges, e.g. glycan-PMNs for probing and targeting multivalent protein-sugar interactions for mechanistic understanding and new therapeutic developments; multi-ligand functionalised PMNs for targeted theranostics of cancer and bacterial infections. He serves as an associate editor and/or editorial board member for several academic journals published by Science/AAAS, Wiley-VCH or MDPI. He has published >150 peer-reviewed papers in some high impact, prestigious journals (e.g, Nature Nanotech., JACS, Angew. Chem., Adv. Mater. etc) and 4 invited book chapters (H-index 52, Google Scholar), among which two research work have been highlighted on the BBC.
